Patrick is almost two, and he wasn’t terrible (as in the “terrible twos”), but he was very active. Sometimes you just have to let the little ones explore. That’s what we did after he got out of the restraints (kidding) and eventually it paid off big! I love it when we capture this much personality…

I’ve photographed plenty of babies at their first birthday, and I always enjoy the sessions where they eat cake. Still, I can’t recall any baby enoying a cake quite this much. This is cake bliss!
